This Tuesday our bible study group celebrated the end of our study on Job by going out to eat. We went to a local Chinese buffet and it was a lot of fun. Job had a lot of poignant lessons and so I wanted to share 5 things I learned from the Job study and a great quote about Job.
1. Suffering produces a closer relationship with God if you seek him in your time of need.
2. We will never see the whole picture or understand why everything happens and that is part of our journey; a venture into the unknown.
3. God hears us when we complain, but most the time we need to be quiet and listen.
4. Job was righteous in the end because he repented of his questioning and anger and prayed for his friends.
5. The best thing you can do in your time of need or someone else's is pray, not offer our own opinions or advice.

It looks like you leared a lot from Job. Are you starting a new lesson?
Yes we are starting a new lesson on Revelation that will last through the summer. I am excited and can't wait to start.
