Happy Easter

Hope everyone had a great Easter. We spent our Easter weekend with Jared's parents, we exchanged little gifts and candy and his mom cooked some great food. We enjoyed seeing everyone we haven't been over there in a while. Easter started out rainy and dark, and ended with beautiful rays of sunlight. It captured the moment for me;Christ's death was the darkest of days, and his resurrection the light of life. The true meaning of Easter is not found in the candy, baskets, bunny's, or food, it is found in the pages of God's word and hidden in our hearts. Christ's resurrection and triumph over death, gave us the hope of a new life. The real meaning of Easter is found in the open tomb, the worn path to Calvary, in the glorious Savior.
