A Christmas Poem

I wanted to share a Christmas Poem with everyone since Christmas is only 4 days away!!!
So here it is:

Bethlehem of Judea- Anonymous

"A little child,
A shining star.
A stable rude,
The door ajar.

Yet in that place,
So crude, forlorn,
The Hope of all
The world was born."

This poem is so short and written by someone unknown, but I think it speaks to all of us on what the birth of Christ is all about. Sometimes less words mean more. My favorite line of the poem is "door ajar" because the door is open for all who seek to know Him. Let us all reflect on the Love of Christ now and always may it never be something we take for granted. May this upcoming Christmas be full of God's grace, mercy, and love.
