To see the whole picture we must exchange the mirror for a new vision.True beauty is found when we least expect it, and most of the time the beauty in each day is missed because we are too busy looking in the mirror and judging others. Perhaps we should look around and see the world through the eyes of redemption. If we did, then perhaps beauty could be found everywhere we looked. It could be found in those around us. In order to have that vision that heart for those in need, we must give up our own quest for an artificial beauty and seek to redefine our lives.
If we did change then: those hurting, those bound by sin, those falling apart, those in need of Christ could see us as we were meant to be as His followers. We will be those that welcome with open arms rather than eyes of judgment. Those that seek the Lord with them and see the beauty in the redemptive power of the cross. Those that are not afraid to loose what the world deems as important and true and exchange that for The Truth.
