This week Bible Verses will continue with Song of Solomon, and next week it will wrap up the study on this book of the Bible and continue on to Isaiah. This study has been a great time to reflect on my relationship with Jared. There is much to be said of love, commitment, and relationships in Song of Solomon. I pray that God would move each of our hearts from complacency to change and that he would draw us all closer to Him.

Song of Solomon 3:9-11
The Shulamite
"Of the wood of Lebanon
Solomon the King
Made himself a palanquin
He made its pillars of silver
Its supports of gold
Its seat of purple
Its interior paved with love
By the daughters of Jerusalem.
Go forth, O daughters of Zion,
And see King Solomon with the crown
With which his mother crowned him
On the day of his wedding,
The day of the gladness of his heart."

This passage is so beautiful. It describes the wedding day. It is awesome that the inside of the palanquin is paved with love(10). It is just a sacred depiction of the love that was present on Solomon's wedding day. The shulimite writes this regarding the man that is to become her husband. It just speaks to me regarding respect and admiration and the joy of marriage.
