Our Christmas

On Christmas Eve Eve we had a taco dinner with some of our greatest pals. It was wonderful we got to visit with Frank from Germany and Jonathan from Colorado as well as with our buds Josh and Quyen from right here in Texas. We had a Bible Study about Christ's birth and just had fun together.

On Christmas Eve, Jared and I went to his mom's house later in the evening for their Christmas celebration. We ate, talked, laughed, opened gifts, watched old movies, enjoyed visiting. It was great. We truly have great memories from this Christmas Eve, as well as many others we have spent at their house.

On Christmas Day, Jared and I went to my parent's house in Fort Worth. It was a bunch of fun. My mom cooked ham and turkey as well as some great desserts. We also ate, talked, laughed, opened gifts, recalled memories, and had fun. It has been a while since we have been able to visit everyone for a long time, so it was really good to be able to spend most of the day together.

Overall our Christmas was amazing, and yet amidst it all a star shines brightly down into our hearts to remind us that the true gift during Christmas and always lies within one name. The name above all names. Jesus Christ our Lord.
