This week I am going to share information regarding organizations in need. These will mostly be national organizations so they should be in everyone's area. Please note that this list is not comprehensive and does not include all of the organizations in need. If you know of an organization that is not on this list please share in the comments below. May each of us search our hearts and pray for these organizations. Prayer is powerful. That is the first step we can take in helping those in need. Organizations (Listed in no particular order):
- Compassion International- This is a child sponsorship organization. Each month of the year you can give to support a specific child in need. They send you information and you can write and communicate with them. Help a child in need below:

- Salvation Army Angel Tree- This organization allows the public to assist in getting gifts for children in need. Many local malls and such have trees set up and you select a card and go shopping for the child. You return to the location and drop off the gifts unwrapped. Help a child this Christmas below:

- Operation Gratitude- This organization helps deliver items to troops overseas. You can donate money to send a care package, you can write letters or send Christmas Cards and this organization will send them to the troops, you can knit scarves, there are so many ways to help the troops with this organization. - Feeding America- This organization is a compilation of several local food banks that help feed those in need here in our country. To find a location near you click on your state on this website. Help those in need in our country below:

- Mercy Ships Helping Haiti- This organization sends goods to Haiti and helps them in this time of great need. You can donate to this organization below and help those in great need in Haiti below:
