This is the final post in a series of posts concerning what is found in a day. I believe each day helps form a journey, and that journey is paved with happiness, joy, at times sadness and strife. All in all though, each day contains a glimpse into our lives. Each day can hold numerous memories and each of those create our life. To cherish a day can be a simple as appreciating the things that are sometimes hard to see. There are many distractions, that take us away from the important things in life. Many distractions that take us away from time with God, family, friends, or time reflecting on our own.
I think that distraction is one of the greatest things that takes away our time. It can be from the t.v., daily tasks, the internet, or many others. Distraction can cause us to become so busy that days just pass without us really knowing it. I think a day is composed of many potential distractions. It is necessary for each of us to let those things go and just spend time with people. To just enjoy life around us, it reminds me of how my grandparents often end the evening with a walk. It might take a few minutes it might be a long walk but they are not in a hurry to get home, or go to the next place, they just spend time together. So this week we should try to spend the time in a day more wisely. To take a few walks, to look at photo albums, to talk to friends, to cook, to take pictures, to read, all without rushing to do the next thing.
Hope you have a wonderful day and a great weekend, and I hope these posts were helpful and inspiring.
