The past few days it has been icy here, so they cancelled school. It has been such a blessing for us because Jared and I have got some time to spend together and the stress of schoolwork has been pushed back for a few days. It has already been rough this semester with plenty of reading, and trying to learn Spanish. The days are packed with work and chores and this break has been refreshing. Winter is one of my favorite seasons because it is so refreshing. God's beauty is adorned in an icicle or reflected in the snow, and when the sun breaks through his love showers down like the melting ice. Everything needs a season of refreshing including us. A time to reflect and also a time to renew and grow in the knowledge of the Lord. These past few days have been just a refreshing time to enjoy the beauty that is winter.
