This week we return to our series on the promises of God and will wrap it up with a couple promises that we find in the Bible. We have not exhausted God's promises (I mean how can we?) but I hope this series has reminded us of who He is and what He has done for us, I hope it has taken us all somewhere new. May we rest in His arms and awake to the glorious unfathomable truth that His love endures forever, His faithfulness never ends...
Stay tuned next month for our series called: True Love (An in depth look at society, the love of Christ, and the mandate to love one another)
Here are a few more promises for us to meditate on, be thankful for, and rest in: (Each taken from the Bible)
*He will remember our sins no more. "As far as the east is from the west. . . "
* He will someday wipe away every tear and there will be no sorrow or pain "He will wipe away their tears. . ."
* "His love endures forever"
*"He will never leave us or forsake us"
* "He will finish the good work He began in us"
Oh Lord might we cast our cares upon you, might we let our regrets fly like the wind, may we take a deep breath and pludge into the depths of your love and truth and may we not return. May you transform us, molding us as clay, tearing away from us our precious nothings, leaving us nothing but you. May we taste freedom, long for freedom, give up our lives for the freedom that comes in knowing You in walking with You in abiding in you. . . May we your people reach out to those that do not know you and offer freedom. . . for you have broken our shackles. . . you have paid our cost. . . you have set us free. . . now may we be free indeed.
