Bible Verses: Matthew

This month we are focusing on the book of Matthew but looking deeper into parables specifically. I am looking forward to all God has in store for this month. Also, please comment with any ideas you have for a series or book of the Bible for the summer. I am thinking of doing something different for the summer after the 1 John series in May. So please if God lays it on your heart for a specific focus or book let me know.

This month there will not be a commentary due to the need for more individual extensive interpretation. May the Lord speak to each of us through His word and change our hearts and lives.

*Bible Verses is not an exhaustive study and each reader should seek the Lord alone for revelation and translation.

Matthew 13: 3-9
(The Parable of the Sower)
" And he told them many things in parables saying:
"A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell
along the path, and the birds came and devoured them.
Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not
have much soil, and immediately they sprang up,
since they had no depth of soil. but when the sun rose
they were scorched. And since they had no root, they
withered away. Other seeds fell among thorns, and the
thorns grew up and chocked them. Other seeds fell on good
soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty,
some thirty. He who has ears, let him hear."

The Parable of the Sower Explained coming next week. . .
