Jared: He has still been really busy at work but it has slowed down this month, leaving us lots of time together. We were able to spend many weekends outdoors, something he loves to do! We also enjoyed a Saturday with our good bud Josh and played some disc golf. Jared has taken a new interest in frisbee and disk golf this month and it has been fun:)
Nicole: I have been trying to catch up on stuff in terms of cleaning and getting the house organized in order to be prepared to move in May. Much of the rest of my time is spent in the library, outside on nice days at the park, with family or friends, or holding my little guy and teaching him new things. This month has been full of visits and date nights which was great. We enjoyed a wonderful dress up later night date this month, our first since Kaleb's birth. I also continued reading my book Cutting for Stone, and started another wonderful book and discussion group with a friend over His Help Meet, it has been fantastic! All in all I am still just enjoying being a mommy and home maker!
Kaleb: He is talking!!! Well mostly vowel sounds, but he can go on for almost 15min straight he is a talker like his momma:) Can't wait to hear him say his first word so far the closest we have gotten is na na. My grandmother would be proud, I know he can't wait to meet her in July! In other milestones he is nearly sitting up completely unassisted and is doing better with tummy time although no where near crawling yet. He likes to play now and loves toys that make noise. He started cereal this month and he still does not like the rice one, he much prefers oatmeal. Overall, he is a happy baby most of the time and I am overjoyed to be his momma. ;)
All of us have enjoyed several family dinners, Easter dinner made by myself from scratch:), many walks and hikes, and lots of smiles in the month of April.
Can't wait to see what May will bring!
