Bible Verses: Prayer. . .

For the next while the Bible Verses series will focus on prayer. We will be back once a week and we will have a weekly prayer challenge. Please participate and pray each day for the challenge. Also, please share your prayer requests and prayers based on the weekly challenge in the comments below or on the Facebook link to this post. I would love to start a prayer chain with all of you!! What we need most now is a move of God in every aspect of life, we need to hear His voice, and seek His face. So this series is going there, in hopes that we all will too, that we will hit our knees, His truth will hit our hearts, and set us free. . .

*Ideas for families with kids:
*Have your kiddos make an American Flag on each stripe write a prayer for a service member, troop, or for the nation. Post this outside your front door if you wish:)

* Use an old can and paint it with stars and stripes, have your kids deposit prayers in there:)

* Write a letter as a family to a service member or send a card to them letting them know your prayers are with them.

* Ideas for single people and young married and anyone really:
 * Visit a nursing home or other facility and take some Amercian flags with to give to those residing in the facility.
* Pray with friends or with each other at a memorial site.
* Write a service person
